2:18PM July 06, 2020
Hello, we have around 100 personal accounts and 10-15 business accounts on The Farm Community that could represent quite a bit of revenue for MLConnect. There is a larger community in the area that would also benefit from having access to broad band. I was told that they should be making a timeline announcement about Phase 3 soon, can you let us know when this might happen? I am a Sr. Systems Engineer and have a house on the community, but can't live there because the internet service is so poor. I have been renting apartments in other towns for about 10 years and it would be great to be able to move back home. There are a number of other people in this same predicament and also others wanting to start online businesses, but are inhibited by poor internet service. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
12:14PM July 14, 2020
Thank you for the information and your interest. We hope to make the announcement in the next few weeks, after we finish design and planning. Stay tuned!
6:50PM July 05, 2020
Any idea if you guys service the Lobelville Village Apartments? Any answer will be appreciated
12:13PM July 14, 2020
Hi there! Apartment complex installations are all unique and have different requirements for design. Before starting, we need a percentage of registrations. Thank you for working with us to spread the word.
1:14PM July 04, 2020
What do the colors on the service area map represent?
12:17PM July 14, 2020
Thank you for checking with us. The map section is constantly being updated due to construction. We are working to create a simple summary of the information and hope to serve everyone better in the future. In the meantime, we welcome any individual inquiries to your local office or to firstname.lastname@example.org to keep the lines of communication open. Take care!
8:46PM June 30, 2020

MLConnect has many options, and we will work with you to deliver the service you need. When we are ready to serve your area, you can share your needs with the MLConnect representative who will assist you.
12:01PM June 29, 2020

10:15AM July 01, 2020
Our goal for service to this area is in the October-December timeframe. Thank you for registering with us online. When installations begin in your area, and MLConnect representative will reach out to you.

Phases 3 and 4 are currently in the design stage. We will make a timeline update when information is available. Thank you for your patience.
11:23AM June 24, 2020
The ML contractors recently stretched the wire in the white oak/Magnolia bridge area of Houston County, however, they apparently missed my house at 500 Wilson Cemetery Lane, while all the other houses in the area have the wire and the coiled drops. Is this planned, or have I been forgotten?
10:22AM July 01, 2020
Thank you for your interest. Our target for serving your address is in the October-December timeframe. Like electric service, construction to serve an area is often unseen in the immediate location. Different areas are fed from different lines. We appreciate your patience.
7:59AM June 24, 2020
What is the time frame for Clydeton Road and service areas off it? We've seen a lot of progress in other areas but nothing going on here. Was originally told it would be March-April of this year.
10:25AM July 01, 2020
The fiber lines to serve different areas are fed from different locations. You can contact your local MLEC office with your address, and they can supply the latest update for you. Thank you for your patience and support!
1:00PM June 19, 2020
Could you explain what each color means in the map? I’m sure that would be a huge help to a lot of people.
10:17AM June 23, 2020
Thank you for sharing your comment. The map section is constantly being updated due to construction. We are working to create a simple summary of the information and hope to serve everyone better in the future. In the meantime, we welcome any individual inquiries to keep the lines of communication open. Take care!

5:17PM June 15, 2020
The estimated time for installations to begin in your area is the October-December timeframe. We look forward to serving you.
6:20AM June 11, 2020
Over a month ago crews were out (even took a wrong turn and drove into our woods) and installed at our neighbors but haven't been back for us! Any idea when they will be back? There isnt a map key but from what I can tell we are on the map.
11:05AM June 11, 2020
Thank you for checking with us and this information. Like electric service, different areas are "fed" from different locations following a specific path for reliability, cost, etc. Construction is ongoing and installations for your specific area are estimated to begin in September. Weather and other variables could impact this, but we are on target at this time.
9:21AM June 09, 2020
I have seen some of the comments on here about Bold Springs being October/December 2020 to start. I live on Hurricane Creek Road McEwen Side. Seen one of your maintenance guys yesterday working on a house on our road on Waverly side, help him direct traffic because he was on a hill, but he thought you all were doing connect all the houses that were registered to be connected on our road. We explained we were on McEwen side he was confused. Was wanting to see when we might see internet?
4:38PM June 10, 2020
Thank you for assisting the contractors. It is great to live in our rural hometowns. Also, thank you for checking with us about service. Building the broadband network is an intricate project, and like electric service, different areas are "fed" from different locations following a specific path for reliability, cost, etc. Installations for your specific area are estimated to begin in the October/December 2020 timeframe. Weather and other variables could impact this, but we are on target at this time. Again, thank you for the assistance, the questions and this opportunity to share information.
1:44AM June 09, 2020
having a service area map is great, but one of the reasons you have so many questions posted here is there is no key to go with the map so we could look and see for ourselves.
4:40PM June 10, 2020
Thank you for sharing your comment. The map section of this website is constantly being updated due to construction. We are working to create a simple summary of the information and hope to serve everyone better in the future. In the meantime, we welcome any individual inquiries to keep the lines of communication open. Take care!
12:08PM June 06, 2020
Hopefully this service comes soon to the Farm Community where there are at least 100 or more customers waiting patiently!
4:42PM June 10, 2020
We appreciate everyone's excitement and support and are looking forward to serving all our members in time.
For Lewis County, we are currently doing installations for some areas of Hohenwald. While your location is not eligible at this time, MLEC/MLConnect is committed to making broadband an option for ALL MLEC members. Our goal is to complete construction by the end of 2022, but considering the amount of interest, it will take longer to reach all the in-home and in-business actual installations. Because you have registered with us online, we will reach out to you when installations begin in your area. Look for a timeframe update for Lewis County soon. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to serve everyone.

I know that this is a large task to get all these counties connected but the people in the rural areas of these counties are the ones needing this now. The city areas already have high speed internet. Those of us who rely on dish, hughes net, etc. are in dire need of high speed internet., We rely on our internet for business, education, shopping, and numerous other things. Do you have any time frame for my area? Shortly I will be forced to upgrade my hughes net and I was hoping That I would be on mlconnect before I had to do this. Looks like it will be another few years at the rate you are going.
2:37PM April 01, 2020
Thank you for checking with us. We are working as quickly as we can to reach all areas. The reasons you described are why MLEC chose to start this journey. We understand how important broadband internet is to our members. Like building the electric system, we started where equipment was already in place and are building out as we go for the strongest, most reliable system. An announcement for a timeline to include Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties will be available later this year. I can share that our goal remains to finish construction to all five counties by the end of 2022. We appreciate your patience but also understand the dire need.
10:33AM March 31, 2020
My company has said I can work from home, however I don't have internet. How long before it gets to W. Little Richland Rd, Hemby Branch Rd in Waverly?
3:23PM April 01, 2020
There are 64 design areas in Phase II, and installations begin when construction is finished for that area. Your address looks to be in area 55, which means we hope to begin installations the last quarter of this year. Weather and other variables may change this, but because you are registered with us online, we will reach out to you when installations begin.
1:43PM March 28, 2020
I live up on Old Blacktop in Mcewen any good news this way? I see them working around the area.

3:52PM March 27, 2020
I know my Area Nunnnelly does not yet have a time frame, but I tried to look at your information regarding Phone service, I really want/need to know if an option will be available to block known robocallers, I.E. ones that call my house everyday using the same actual not a spoofed number.
3:28PM April 01, 2020
Thank you for checking with us. Yes! Our phone system does allow you to block unwanted numbers and have a Robo Call block.
3:47PM March 25, 2020
I know this is a difficult time but being stuck at home during this crisis is harder without internet. My son can’t do his online classes now that they’ve cancel college. We live out Bakerville Road in Waverly Tn. Any good news you can give us????
8:36AM March 26, 2020
We share the good news that while the weather and COVID-19 have been slowing our progress, we are still moving forward. Also, we know that you'll love MLConnect when it reachces you. The goal is to begin construction in your area later this year. Please check back with us mid-summer for an update. Thank you for your patience and support.
12:04PM March 24, 2020
I know you all are working as fast as possible considering all this rain but is there an idea of what quarter you will be working in the Half Pone rd area?
7:22PM March 29, 2020
Thanks for the reply you all stay safe out there
8:42AM March 26, 2020
Thank you for supporting MLConnect and your patience. We estimate construction will begin in your area in the Q3 of this year. Stay tuned for updates!
10:43AM March 16, 2020
When is Pinewood being targeted? Specifically, Hidden Valley Road.
10:12AM March 19, 2020
Covering roughly 2600 miles in five rural areas is a big task, and we are happy to be on target for our end of 2022 goal. A timeframe for unserved areas in Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties such as yours will be available later this year. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
3:49PM March 09, 2020
Is that fiber being ran out 231 in McEwen? (Fingers Crossed!)

11:26AM March 11, 2020
MLConnect thanks you and all those who are waiting so patiently for fast, affordable, reliable - 100-percent broadband! Constructing a project of this size across five counties is a large commitment, and we are working as quickly as possible with the weather and rural landscape. We anticipate your specific location will be live in the third quarter of this year. Because you've registered with us online, a representative will contact you when installations begin.
12:07PM March 06, 2020

11:28AM March 11, 2020
Thank you for reaching out to us. We anticipate some services will be live in your area by the third quarter of 2020. Of course weather and other unforeseen delays could influence this timeframe.
8:55PM March 02, 2020
When will you have service all the way down Old Stewart road (Pond Ln.)??
3:30PM March 03, 2020
Construction for the Pond Lane area of Tennessee Ridge is expected to be finished in the 3rd Quarter of 2020. Weather and other unexpected issues could cause a delay, but our goal is be live this fall.
10:19AM February 29, 2020
I signed up for your GB service a couple years ago... still waiting... but no service available in my area.
198 Potts Rd, Hohenwald
Looks like you stopped your service area at the edge of the more populated areas near the Golf Course.
Us folks a few miles on down they road need service too.
Last fall I saw a guy in a ML Connect truck who said he was inspecting the poles in our area. That gave me some hope.
I work from home and really need high speed internet.
Any idea when you might make it out hwy 412 a bit more to Claude Carroll Road and Potts Rode residences ?
1:03PM March 02, 2020
When MLEC announced the formation of MLConnect in August 2018, our goal was to finish construction to all interested members by the end of 2022. Covering roughly 2600 miles in five rural areas is a big task, and we are happy to be on target for that goal. A timeframe for unserved areas in Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties such as yours will be available later this year. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
2:20PM February 26, 2020
When will you be in area of old 49 hwy?
12:42PM February 28, 2020
8:33PM February 23, 2020

11:12AM February 26, 2020
Your location is scheduled for construction later this year. Since you've registered with us online, a representative will reach out to you when installations begin. Stay tuned!
5:58PM February 21, 2020
I live at 947 bold springs rd in McEwen and I was wondering when I would be able to revive service ? I haven’t seen anyone working on the lines down my road
2:36PM February 20, 2020
When will the Totty's Bend area be completed? Mainly on Mobley Ridge Road? Thanks
11:07AM February 21, 2020
For Hickman County, we are currently doing installations for some areas of Centerville. Phases III and IV will include the remaining portions of Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties, but a timeframe will not be available until later this year. Our goal is to complete construction to everyone by the end of 2022.
3:05PM February 17, 2020
It looks like the lines and things are finished on Stewart Branch Rd in Hurricane Mills. Any idea on how long until installation?
3:59PM February 17, 2020
Main line construction is nearing completion. If the weather holds, installations could begin in the next few months. Since you've registered with us online, you'll be contacted when installations start. Thank you!
5:37PM February 12, 2020
what do the dark pink or purple and gray areas on map mean? as many pink areas on map i dont see how can be completed by Jan. of 2021 but hope so. keep my fingers crossed
9:58AM February 14, 2020
The areas in pink are the remaining areas in Humphreys and Houston counties and are expected to have construction completed by the end of January 2021. Actual in-home/business installations will take a bit longer.
2:23PM February 12, 2020
Our MLEC electric service in underground . Will the fiber be underground to our house too? Also our house is listed as phase 2, our address is 145 Langford Road Waverly, and I noticed that Tall Trees recently had the fiber lines and poles installed . Since we do get our electricity off HWY 70 versus Tall Trees grid , will we have access when Tall Trees internet becomes active?
9:56AM February 14, 2020
If your electric service is underground, the fiber to your home will be also. The service drop for underground takes a bit longer, so anyone who wishes, can have their fiber overhead. The rainy weather of late has slowed our progress; however, we expect to begin construction in your area in the next few months. Since you've registered with us online, an MLC representative will contact you when installations begin in your area.
8:24AM February 12, 2020
Hi Bradley Road in MEwen! Depending on the weather and other variables, the goal is to complete construction and be live with installations in your area this summer.
4:46PM February 11, 2020
Saw that they ran cable lines on my property today at Bradley Road in McEwen today(we are located towards end near trace creek). This got us excited, how much closer are we to a installation date now?
1:54PM February 10, 2020
In rental situations where the electric service is another name, the homeowner/landlord will need to sign a permission form prior to the installation being scheduled. You will receive a separate bill for your MLConnect service.
4:08PM February 07, 2020
MLConnect is making progress further into the rural areas of Humphreys and Houston counties everyday. As for television, MLConnect speeds make streaming possible. Many customers are using this entertainment option instead of traditional satellite services.
2:34PM February 06, 2020
I have seen the workers going up Old Blacktop RD any idea when we can get connected?
7:29PM February 05, 2020
Are you able to predict the time frame for service on Little Blue Creek Road? Also, some folks are saying that with MLconnect we will be able to use it for TV and not require satellite service. Is that true?
11:59PM January 31, 2020
I am SO ready for Bakerville Road to be completed! ❤️❤️
9:44AM January 20, 2020
Construction for Phase II, which includes all areas of Humphreys and Houston counties not included in Phase I, is expected to finish in January 2021. If you select the Service Areas tab on this website, areas in light green are in service now and scheduling installations. Areas in pink are included in Phase II.
5:39PM January 16, 2020
I have seen MLConnect trucks on Old Nashville Hwy in McEwen. Any idea on a completion date in that area?
8:48AM January 16, 2020
As the list that showed the status of each are is no longer shown on this site, what is the best way to get an update of the status of our area? Thank you in advance.
8:47AM January 14, 2020
Mr. Hux: At this time, you are scheduled for construction later in Phase II, which is currently under construction (some installations complete) and expected to span 15 months (finished in January 2021). Because you have registered with us online, we have a way to contact you when installations begin in your area.
3:24PM February 09, 2020
One other question I am a renter with electric included. Will I still be eligible to sign up under my name or will it have to be added to electric bill?
10:58AM January 13, 2020
The main line is now being ran down Old Blacktop Rd. from Gorman toward McEwen. Any idea when service will be available?
8:08AM January 10, 2020
MLConnect currently does not offer wifi hotspots for members, but is an option we might consider doing in the future.
However, MLEC offers a few select free hotspots in our service area that can be used for internet access. Check locations at this link: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/embed?mid=z2AV8O9H2QJE.kMU05vce5oT4
10:46AM December 19, 2019
Thanks for getting to the people without internet first we really appreciate it. If only right. You put it in places that already have internet available first. Now it's put back another year. Just a complete let down.
3:53PM December 16, 2019
Will I be able to connect to ANY MLconnect wifi spot as long as I am a member? Or will there be any hotspots? Kind of like xfinity does.
7:11AM December 15, 2019
I would like to hear some feedback from customers who now have the new service? You know some Pros and Cons.
9:30AM October 24, 2019
MLConnect will be an option for all those living in the MLEC service area. The project is lengthy, but we are committed to reaching everyone in time. Progress is made every day, and we appreciate everyone's support.
6:27PM October 23, 2019
I live in the Pineview area on the map at 47 Deer Run Road Lobelville Tn. I would love love to have better internet would save me hundreds in gas back and forth to Nashville everyday. Better internet means I could work from home ... I live in a area that I don’t think their are a lot of people in my area that will get it ? So does that mean I don’t get it ?
5:14PM October 23, 2019
These are all great questions, and we're working to make an official announcement about Phase 2. As shared, MLEC/MLConnect is committed to making broadband an option for ALL MLEC members. It is not a matter of "if" but "when." Our goal is to complete construction by the end of 2022, but considering the amount of interest, it will take longer to finish home and business installations. Of course we would like to serve everyone at one time. Unfortunately, it is not possible. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to serve everyone.
10:00AM October 20, 2019
Please come to pineview!!! Lobelville. We have nothing here no access to net just satellite net. Lucky to even have phone signal out here!
1:18PM October 19, 2019
Was curious if you had a timeline for the 10-314 Brown Hollow area, very anxious to get good reliable service as soon as possible. Thanks.
7:29PM October 18, 2019
Mine is pineview I seen they wanted all of us from the outskirts of linden and lobelville to email yall if we want it in our area. We already signed a survey from mlconnect over a year ago saying we wanted this down here. I really hope yall are gonna come here we have nothing here cant even get Tds out here this is a complete dead zone. Please keeping moving forward on this list of future service areas. I cant wait for yall to come down here, so many of us are waiting on this!
5:35PM October 16, 2019
So is there an expected start date for Phase 2?
9:54PM October 15, 2019
Can you please help us understand this new phase 2 map, it appears like you're going to solely focus on Humphreys county and not give anyone in Lewis, Perry, or Hickman county any more growth until a different point in the future,
is this going to be how it works?
I'm sure most of us are very interested to understand how it works.
5:24PM October 04, 2019
Thank you for contacting MLConnect and your interest in fast, affordable, reliable broadband and phone services. We offer no data limits, no contracts, FREE standard installation and hometown service.
At this time, we are working on installations in the Phase I areas. While your zone (01-334 West To River) is not in Phase I, we are making progress with our Phase II construction in the rural areas every day. Look for an official update soon.
Again, thank you for your interest and support. We look forward to serving you.
6:18PM September 23, 2019
When is 01-334 West to River going to be slated to move forward. It says it is still reviewing interest. My residence is only a mile or two from where service is already established in Tennessee Ridge
11:43AM September 10, 2019
We are continuing and will make broadband an option to all MLEC members. As shared in an earlier post, the map section of our webiste is undergoing some changes, so your zone name is the best indicator of construction progress for your area. From construction to installation, there are several steps in the process, and it will take time to reach everyone. MLConnect continues to make progress every day. We appreciate your patience and support.
8:38PM September 09, 2019
On your map I am under the Phase 1 color, 01-354 Hwy 49 East/Hwy 13 North , You are not going to change that are you? I am so tired of having crappy internet it's not funny! On My Dashboard I now have a Goal bar that wasn't there before. Does that mean that it has started? We already have the fiber optic lines laid.
6:10PM September 09, 2019
Different colors on the Service Area maps relate to different stages of construction. Currently, this portion of our website is undergoing changes. If we can clarify anything about your zone, please contact us for personal assistance.
6:09PM September 09, 2019
Construction is currently underway in Phase I areas of McEwen, and we hope to announce a "go live" date for in-home installations to begin in the next few weeks.
6:08PM September 09, 2019
Zones are designated according to your address. If your zone does not look correct, please contact your local MLEC office for assistance. When registering, some will enter abbreviations such as Rd, Ln, and there may be more than one Smith Rd, etc. in our five counties.
10:15PM September 05, 2019
On your map under the Service Areas, could you tell me what each color represents?
4:47AM September 02, 2019
Any information about McEwen? Im in phase I area.
6:51PM August 24, 2019
My are is saying Pleasantville, yet my address is Waverly. Is that correct?
2:47PM August 21, 2019
Your address places you in a zone labeled as 07-324 Pleasantville. Areas are grouped geographically by zones (not necessarily by the city name) and indicate the area with which construction for your location is scheduled to be completed. If you feel the location is incorrect, please email us at email@example.com with your mailing address and reference "zone check" in the subject line. Thank you for reaching out to us and the opportunity to be of service.
7:03PM August 20, 2019
My area is saying pleasantville yet my address is linden. How does that work?
11:03AM August 14, 2019
The numbers associated with a registration, such as 06-364 are the location's zone. Phase I zones include those with the name of a city followed by numbers, for example New Johnsonville 04-2140. Phases II, III, and IV are numbers followed by a location, such as 06-364 Coble.
11:00AM August 14, 2019
Dudley Brooks Loop is not in Phase 1 (scheduled for completion in 2019); however, we are committed to making service an option for everyone served by MLEC and hope to finish construction by the end of 2022. Phase II is currently being designed and announcement will be made in a few months.
10:56AM August 14, 2019
Waverly DA 11-3440 is currently scheduling installations. Your local MLEC office can provide sign-up assistance.
10:53AM August 14, 2019
Although a user might only "register" one sight, you can let us know when we contact you that you would like to add additional addresses. Or, you can also register the other addresses, but a different email address will be needed. However, keep in mind that different physical addresses might not be able to be installed at one time because they may be outside of Phase I.
11:22AM August 13, 2019
Can you tell me how long of a wait time I have to get connected in area DA 11-3440? Thanks.
9:36PM August 12, 2019
Could you tell me when the internet will be available on Dickson highway?my address is 45 Dudley Brooks Loop Erin Tn 37061
4:43PM August 10, 2019
I am in DA 11-3440 Hillhaven area. I registered to get connected the end of July. Comcast jacked my rate on me by $40 due to my contract running out. I am cancelling Comcast on Monday. Can you give me an idea of when I will be able to get connected? Thanks!
6:05PM August 09, 2019
Can you tell me what these numbers mean...06-364
9:07PM August 07, 2019
we currently have internet thru the phone co, and it does have issues a lot. can you give me a time frame for your fiber to reach our neighborhood? the first of the two companies to bring it will get our business, and that of my neighbors who are also fed up with the work sometimes internet service we have.
12:35PM August 05, 2019
Though I only put our address on the "interested" site, there are two other homes on our farm that would be interested in this.
12:08PM July 29, 2019
Phase I (in and around the cities like Erin and Tennessee Ridge) will complete construction in 2019. Areas selected for Phase II and beyond are being evaluated with an announcement coming in a few months. Because you have registered with us online, we have a way to contact you when construction and installations begin in your area.
5:20AM July 29, 2019
What are plans/ timeframe for Danville, McKinnon, Stewart area on HWY 147 in western Houston County?
11:10AM July 17, 2019
At this time, your location - 11-314 Ridge Road Zone - is not scheduled for Phase I (construction to be completed in 2019). Areas selected for Phase II and beyond are being evaluated with an announcement coming in a few months. Because you have registered with us online, we have a way to contact you when construction and installations begin in your area. Again, thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work toward a common goal - FAST, reliable broadband for our rural hometowns.
12:25PM July 12, 2019
I'm in 11-314 Ridge Rd. zone on Old 13 about 2 miles from Buffalo/I40....i think quite literally at the end of our service branch. Had a surveyor come by a few weeks ago to (I guess) geotag the pole. He mentioned it was for fiber. Does this mean you're moving past the gauging interest stage and moving toward install? Any sort of time frame I can hope for? Just want to know so I can manage my Hughes account accordingly (don't want to contract for longer than I need). REALLY WANT THE FIBER!! Thanks!
8:21AM July 11, 2019
Thank you for your question! At this time, construction is expected to finish in 2019 for areas in orange.
3:04PM July 10, 2019
Can you confirm that orange shaded areas of the map are in the Phase 1 zone? I saw an earlier post that stated that only Phase 1 areas were highlighted and wanted to ensure this includes all colors. If so, my understanding is that this area (Asbury Dr, New Johnsonville) will be serviced by the end of 2019.
4:03PM July 08, 2019
Mr. Wilson: Construction is underway in Phase I areas of McEwen. MLConnect is on target to complete construction in all Phase I areas in 2019.
4:00PM July 08, 2019
Kunal: Our online system is experiencing some issues. To verify the zone for your location, please email your service address to firstname.lastname@example.org. We apologize for this inconvenience.
3:09PM July 08, 2019
Mr Rist: Your online registration shows a different location than Phase I. We will email you shortly to verify your location and provide additional assistance. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
2:30PM July 08, 2019
Service area 06-364 Coble says Currently Installing - Signup now !
Is it really being installed at this point ? If not can you let us know about a possible time frame,
8:04AM July 08, 2019
Hi All, Just wondering if there is an update of a timeline as to when they will start the construction in McEwen TN. Also is expectation still that phase 1 construction will be complete this year? Thanks!
3:51PM July 03, 2019
Why does the map online show different areas to where phase 1 is then the map in the office? Online states that my area is in fact in phase 1. So am I or am I not in phase 1? I am so excited about having an internet that works in my area. Thank you in advance for your time.
7:51AM July 03, 2019
Thank you for your comments, Mr. Betz. We always want to keep the lines of communication open and provide answers on this project. The website experienced an outage yesterday and your comments were missed. The colors on the SERVICE AREA page map correspond to stages the areas are in. Below the map on that page, the colors correspond to a different message about that area. Only Phase I areas are highlighted at this time. As shared in the beginning, MLConnect is committed to serving ALL areas. The grants received are designated for specific areas, and these are in the design stage. As the system is built out, more rural areas are being included but it will take time to reach everyone. Again, thank you for your comments and this opportunity to share information.
3:20PM July 02, 2019
Strange, my comment did not get posted. I will try again.Ms. Harrington is correct in her question. The rural areas are always last to be serviced. The city has acce to all kinds of internet providers at high speed. If the infrastructure is in place it's just a matter of running cable. How ever if it is broadband internet over the power lines it just a matter of installing repeaters.
12:59AM July 02, 2019
It would really be professional if you would explain what the colors represent on your service MAP. Being an electrical engineer that answer you gave the lady about why the rural areas are last is phony, once the "infrastructure" is in place to service the city it's just a matter of running cable. Unless it's broadband via the power grid, which would not require extra cable, right. The people in the RURAL areas are always last to get anything. And like she said in the city people have access to several internet services. So how about an honest answer?
3:59PM June 12, 2019
Thank you for supporting MLConnect! Like building the electric system 80 years ago, building a fast, affordable, reliable broadband network will take time. However, we are striving to complete constructin in all five counties by the end of 2022. We are committed to making world-class broadband and hometown service an option for ALL MLEC members. If you have not already, please register with us online by entering your address and picking a potential product. Then, when we are working in your area, we'll have a way to contact you and confirm the order.
3:56PM June 12, 2019
Great question! We started in the cities because we have to build a reliable infrastructure before we can build out in the rural areas - kind of like an electric substation has to be centrally located and building out from there.
3:59PM June 11, 2019
Can someone tell me why people in the city limits get the service before people in the rural areas? People in the city limits have excess to all kind of internet, while I'm still stuck with satellite ? Thank you.
9:52AM June 11, 2019
I live on Hwy 7 South at the Hickman / Maury county line. Any timeline ideas on when we would be getting service. I saw some new power poles go up a couple of months ago at my property line. Are these going to be utilized for the new internet service ?
4:05PM June 09, 2019
On the update page of this site, the last post was February 21st. I know a lot of work has been done on the network. Would someone be able to post an update with an overview of the progress and status, please? We are so excited to know that this service is in progress and will be installed in our homes and businesses soon.
8:00AM June 04, 2019
Our goal is to serve Phase I areas of New Johnsonville in 2019. A specific date for when installations will begin is not available at this time. Since you have registered with us online, an MLConnect representative will contact you when we are working in your area. Thank you for the email and support!
2:17PM May 29, 2019
How will we know when we will be live? We have seen contractors on our street and around town (New Johnsonville), but no info regarding how we will be notified that service is up and running.
9:32PM May 18, 2019
Daniel Norton Grinder Creek Road Hohenwald. My wife and I have lived in areas ( Houston,TX- Washington.D ) that have had high speed internet and enjoyed it very much. We do not have TV as we find TV very Worldly and not to our liking. We were only able to install satellite internet and are restricted to 50 GIG a month with poor quality, slow seeds in the evenings, and inop when a storm is in the area. Thank you for your support! We are excited to bring fast, affordable, reliable broadband to all MLEC members in Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Lewis and Perry counties. Residential services begin at 300 Mbps for $49.95. Check the "Products" tab for full information. Phase I (in and around the cities of our service territory) will serve as a reliable infrastructure for the entire five-county project and construction is expected to finish in 2019. Phase II areas are still under development, and we will make an announcement about this soon. However, we are committed to making broadband an option for ALL MLEC members by the end of 2022. Again, thank you for reaching out to us. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates.

I used to live in civilized areas of this world like Germany and Colorado Springs and the Denver area. I have always had cable internet and it's usually very expensive. Usually 150 Mbs was considered fast and they would charge about $90. So after looking over your pricing for your services for data speeds, paying about $80 or slightly more for 1 GB of data speed kinda makes me hesitant to believe what I am seeing. We currently have Viasat and we are paying about $150 for 50 Mbs which is the fastest satellite internet we could find. And if a cloud flies over us the internet dies out or they will throttle us during peak hours to around 10 Mbs. 10 Mbs is nearly dialup days slow and it's a constant source of frustration for us. All I can say is if you do put in this internet cable or fiber ( I am guessing its fiber due to the 1 GB option ). But if you do this I will be eternally grateful to you guys. I feel like my hopes are being raised just to have them dashed because so many goobers out here think cable internet also means you haft to have the TV packages even though you have stated clearly thats not the case. I hope this happens so we can happily get rid of satelite.

I’m inquiring about a more accurate time line as to when internet services will be available for my address. It looks as if the installment stopped one road before mine which is disappointing considering we’ve been waiting 13 years for any kind of internet service and the areas serviced already have multiple internet options available to them. I was very excited to hear about possible opportunities to connect but now from news sources it’s looking like it will be a few more years before we have options. Our home is less than four miles from town and 2 miles from hwy 20/Summertown hwy so it’s not like we are way out on the other side of the county. I would appreciate any new accurate updates you could provide. Thank you.

While MLConnect will not offer TV services, our fast, reliable speeds will make video streaming readily available for services such as YouTube TV, Hulu, Netflix, etc. To learn more about streaming, check our website FAQs: http://www.mlconnect.com/faqs.

Thank you for supporting MLConnect. Like building the electric system 80 years ago, building a fast, affordable, reliable broadband network will take time. However, we are committed to making world-class broadband and hometown service an option for ALL MLEC members by the end of 2022. If you have not already, please register with us online by entering your address and picking a potential product. Then, when we are working in your area, we'll have a way to contact you and confirm the order.
8:35PM April 17, 2019
I heard that you will be including TV service. Is this true?
1:56PM April 17, 2019
Are we going to get this on Piney Creek Road.
4:23PM April 01, 2019
Like building the electric system 80 years ago, building a fast, affordable, reliable broadband network will take time and starts with a strong foundation. Our goal is to serve all areas by the end of 2022.
MLConnect is using a phase construction approach to build a reliable infrastructure for the entire five-county project. Services are being installed in Waverly, and construction is ongoing in Hohenwald and Centerville. After this, we will move to (in order) New Johnsonville, Erin, Tennessee Ridge, McEwen, Linden then Lobelville. It is our goal to have these all ready for service in 2019.
We applied for six grants under the Tennessee Broadband Accessibility Grant Program and received one for a section of rural Humphreys County. We will apply for additional grand funds in the future.
It will take time to cover MLEC's entire service territory, but we are committed to the task.
1:44PM March 31, 2019
So it looks like Phase 1 is pretty much the same people in Hohenwald that already have access to Spectrum and other broadband Providers. I thought that the grant was made to deliver internet options other than satellite to people in Rural areas. To me that would be people outside of the areas that already have options. I'm sort of disappointed. 3 years to wait sucks.
12:40PM March 25, 2019
Registrations/sign-ups are now open for those living in the Phase I area of Waverly! Once you register, MLConnect will contact you to confirm your order and set up the installation.
8:08PM March 15, 2019
With go live on the 18th for Waverly when should registration start for those in Waverly area
8:48AM February 28, 2019
All areas receiving electricity from MLEC will have the opportunity for service. If you have questions related specifically to your location, please email your address and a phone number to email@example.com.
3:21PM February 25, 2019
You now if you will be running it out 13 north or not?
9:02AM February 11, 2019
MLConnect's original goal was to serve Coble and other areas outside of Phase I by the end of 2022. We're excited about the potential of moving that goal closer with the help of grants and other factors.
As Phase I nears the end, Phase II will be designed. Areas selected for Phase II will be based on construction costs, existing infrastructure, time constraints, etc. Another determining factor is the amount of interest in each neighborhood (number of online registrations). This is why registering on the website is SO IMPORTANT. For example, if there are 50 houses on a road and only 4 registered, another location with 20 houses and 15 registrations looks to have more interest. High registration does not guarantee a neighborhood’s inclusion in the next phase, but more interest can increase its chances. Encouraging your neighbors to register as well would be a great help. Registration is not an obligation to buy, but shows area interest, helps guide future construction, and provides a way to contact you when broadband signups begin in their area.
Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and http://www.mlconnect.com for updates.
3:32PM February 10, 2019
So like I live barely into the coble zone how long do you think it'll take to upgrade me from sub mbps internet?
till 2020? 2021? Don't hit me with that 'We'll get to ya when we get to ya' stuff though.
11:23AM January 23, 2019
Like building the electric system, MLConnect will build out its broadband system to create the infrastructure first (connecting the cities). This is an important first step toward a fast, reliable broadband system to serve all five counties. We would be happy to verify if a specific location is in Phase I. Just email a physical address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
5:44PM January 18, 2019
As is the case with every high speed internet provider, those of us outside of town are pushed aside. The area in Orange has access to cable and other high speed internet, while we are always just 2miles from any access. Just the way it's always been and always will be. Thanks anyway but I will search for a more promising available internet.
3:54PM January 17, 2019
Would it be possible to have the areas in phase one identified?
9:49AM January 16, 2019
All areas inside Phase I are expected to be live and begin receiving service in 2019. The other phases have not be designed at this time and locations not assigned to a particular phase. However, we anticipate all MLEC areas in all five counties will be completed in four years.
7:01PM January 15, 2019
I’m on Highway 13 S ,right past coop , I have signed up and it said Congratulations your in phase one , will this area be done this year ? Thank you for your time !
1:47PM January 15, 2019
So when will those in Phase 1 receive Internet in their homes?
12:24PM January 15, 2019
How soon to our area? 2years?
5:53PM January 14, 2019
Great question! If NOT registered on our website, enter your address, select “residential” or “commercial” and then “Search For My Address.” If the next screen says, “Congratulations, your address is in the design stage,” you are in Phase I. Whether or not you are in Phase I, pick products you are interested in and click “Submit.” (Not an obligation to buy but registers interest and gives us a way to contact you when we are working in your area.) If you HAVE already registered, sign in or click on "Service Areas" above. From here, you can zoom in on the map. Areas in orange are in Phase I. The first MLConnect phase for broadband construction will help build the entire project’s infrastructure and must be built before we can move out to the more rural areas. But, we're coming! Other phases have not been designed at this time. To learn more about our phase approach and how you can register your area, check our FAQ section.
2:40PM January 13, 2019
The service area MAP explains very little. It needs more explanation about what the colors are telling us. Please post what the colors are telling us or what they represent. It seems like the areas in town have access to all kinds of high speed internet, but those of us who live outside of town are treated like we don't exist.
10:56AM January 04, 2019
Our rural hometowns - areas other providers have overlooked - are in immediate need of fast, affordable, reliable broadband for many reasons. This is why Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative stepped forward to establish MLConnect and help build our communities for the future. While we will not be offering tv packages as a service, the broadband speed offered by MLConnect will make streaming for programs such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. a viable option.
4:35PM December 22, 2018
Please Please get to me.........sat sucks ! ! !! slow and always goes out in a storm......so can not wait ! ! !
7:15AM December 22, 2018
Will you bundle with tv supplier such as Directv or Dish as another option. Thanks.
2:04PM December 14, 2018
I saw the ML team with cable on highway 13 s right before Co-Op , my house is 2 houses down from there on Highway 13 s , any updates on when I'm getting service , I have already signed up , thank you in advance
9:43AM December 02, 2018
BE GREAT IF TV SERVICE LIKE DIRECT TV OR DISH NETWORK OR COMCAST COULD BE INCLUDED. MAYBE IT WOULD NOT GO OUT EVERY TIME A SPRING SHOWER OR JUST A CLOUD CAME OVER..
1:16PM November 06, 2018
About how long will it be before we get it? Will you be eventually getting Tv also?
2:59PM October 11, 2018
Our first phase includes in and around the cities within each of the counties MLEC serves. First up are Waverly, Hohenwald and Centerville. After that, we'll be building out in the other cities in this order to complete Phase I in 2019: New Johnsonville, Erin, Tennessee Ridge, McEwen, Linden and Lobelville.
The first MLConnect phase for broadband construction will help build the entire project’s infrastructure. After that, areas where members have logged interest will help guide the projects’ progress.
Click “I’m Interested” on www.mlconnect.com to log your interest with no obligation to buy.
7:25PM October 07, 2018
So on the Service Area map, is the dark yellow sections right around the town centers the 2019 buildout or the blue/purple/yellow areas going to be built in 2019?
12:19PM September 16, 2018
No one wants to service any new areas on Highway 7 it seems. AT&T has not offered to extend anything even 1 more house. Comcast also has service in the Lyles area, but they also will not extend. Finally, someone listed the location in their service area. Wish we didn't have to do some sort of costly satellite with contract to get internet before this gets ready.
4:04PM September 14, 2018
It was great to hear MLEC is going to provide Broadband, something much needed in our area. I was wondering if there is a possible date as to when we will see this become reality.
5:54AM September 12, 2018
Where on the site do we go to get updates on when service will be available?.
2:30PM August 25, 2018
We have been looking forward to having a good internet service for some time. It will be nice to get a good price without having to negotiate prices, packages etc every year. Way to go MLEC!!!
